'Born in 1965 near Munich, Germany, I've been living in and around Munich for the first 45 years of my life.
Some of you might know that place, and some of you might like it too. But for me it didn’t feel like home anymore.

So I thought I should look a bit beyond my tight horizons.
In the process of finding a new place to call home, I came across New Zealand, those two little islands in the South Pacific Ocean (actually they aren’t really that little).

One day I just packed my suitcase, came here to explore and stayed.

The landscape was so different from what I’ve ever seen before, the colors so much stronger, it just held my eyes. I started to capture all this on camera. First just for myself, but over time I improved my skill (and gear), and now I let others see through my eyes.
